Legal Plan Seller Registration
Effective July 1, 2004 sellers of legal services plan must register with the Office of Consumer Affairs (OCA) at the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. If you currently hold a license from the Virginia State Corporation Commission to sell prepaid legal services, you have until September 30, 2004 to register with OCA. All others must register with OCA prior to selling any legal services plans.
